Ammara Usman

Hello!

My name is Ammara and I am very excited to be running for Secretary for ESN commitee!

I study Biology with Spanish and have spent the last year researching about microbes in freshwater springs in València, Spain! I have had a wonderful time so far and have felt welcomed well by ESN Valencia and would love to be part of a society that welcomes incoming exchange students to Imperial. I would also really like to be a support for students before going on their exchange year as I know how scary it can be!

As Secretary I would be involved in sending emails and administration, minute keeping in meetings. I have experience in all three roles as have worked in admin roles before. I would also be involved in the planning and execution of fun social events and have experience with this as I was an events officer and part of RAG.
