Hello everyone,

I’m running for the position of Secretary of IC Badminton Society because I want to help the club stay organised, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Over the past year, I have been involved in helping to run the social badminton sessions, and this has given me a good understanding of how important strong organisation and clear communication are to the society.

I believe I would be a strong Secretary because I take responsibilities seriously and make sure tasks are completed properly and on time. For a role like Secretary, where keeping track of meetings, communicating updates, and making sure things run smoothly are all essential, I know these qualities would allow me to contribute effectively.

Having already supported the running of social sessions, I have seen firsthand how much behind-the-scenes work goes into keeping the society active and enjoyable. This experience has made me even more motivated to take on a larger role within the committee. I would aim to ensure that communication between committee members and the wider society is clear, timely, and efficient, and that important information is always easy to access.

Overall, I am applying for this role because I care about the society and want to help it continue to thrive. I would bring organisation, reliability, and commitment to the position, and I would do my best to support both the committee and all members of IC Badminton Society.
