With a strong passion for finance and economics, I am excited to apply for the role of Finance Treasurer. I believe this position requires responsibility, organization, transparency, and strategic thinking — qualities I have developed through both academic and practical experience.

During senior school, I was selected for the highly competitive interschool TradeQuest program in Bahrain, involving both private and public schools. The program focused on portfolio management and investment strategy, where teams managed investments for assigned clients based on financial goals, risk appetite, and long-term planning. As the economist for the US market, my team ranked 2nd in portfolio strategy development for our assigned client, Roger Federer. This experience strengthened my understanding of financial analysis, teamwork, and strategic decision-making.

I have also actively paper traded on Investopedia since 2021, where consistent research and long-term investment strategies have contributed to a steady increase in portfolio value and ranking. In addition, I was the Economics topper in my school, reflecting both my dedication to the subject and my enthusiasm for financial systems and decision-making.

As Finance Treasurer, I aim to ensure transparent budgeting, responsible management of funds, and efficient financial planning for events and initiatives. I hope to contribute ideas that maximize opportunities for members while maintaining accountability and financial stability within the committee.

With my analytical mindset, organizational skills, and genuine interest in finance, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to this role.
