Buse Liv
Hi everyone! I’m Buse, a first-year Biological Sciences student, and I’m running to be your next Project Co-ordinator!
I’m fascinated by computational modelling for neurological systems and always excited to explore the latest research, projects, and start-ups in neurotechnology. I’ve previously published papers on computational modelling in dementia, as well as on neuroprosthetics and BCI technologies, at a science journal for young researchers.
I’ve also advised teams at the Find Solutions 4 the Future Hackathon (honourable mention as advisor!) and I am currently competing in FoNS MAD, which allows me to work as a developer within a project team and gain first-hand experience in project creation and execution. These experiences have shown me how important teamwork, structure, and encouragement are in turning ideas into real projects and keeping motivation high when challenges arise.
I enjoy bringing people together, helping ideas take shape, and making sure no one feels lost or stuck along the way. Whether it’s keeping momentum going, supporting teams through challenges, or celebrating progress, I want Neurotech Society to be a space where projects feel exciting, achievable, and genuinely supportive.
I’m excited to bring creative ideas and innovative insights to all our members, helping to turn your project ideas to reality. Let’s shape the future of neurotech together!
