Moyin Olojede

Hi everyone!

I'm Moyin, a third year physics student and I'm running to be Physoc's Cultural Diversity Officer.

Throughout my time at Imperial, I've been an advocate for underrepresented groups here, from being Vice President of Events for African-Caribbean Society to being a Peer Guide for the Bridges programme, which has also given me ample experience in planning events and creating inclusive communities. Coming from an underrepresented group myself, I notice the importance for community and celebrating our cultural identity.

If elected I plan to:

• host themed talks with academic staff from different backgrounds on their journey in Physics
• continue the tradition of decorating Blackett for cultural events
• free food!!
• fun cultural collaborations with other courses
• a summer picnic celebrating diversity in Physics
