In front of me eyes, the lead surgeon on the screen pointed at the organs sitting within the abdominal cavity during a transplant surgery. This was a Virtual Reality simulation at the Transplant & Vascular Symposium 2025. This was one of the best workshops I had ever been to in any conference and one that I wish more people had the chance to experience. Hence, I am running for Publicity Officer because I want to ensure that Transplant and Vascular Surgery is a vibrant, accessible, and exciting career path for every student at Imperial. Here’s how I plan to achieve this:

• Research: Highlighting any research opportunities that come up for students to engage in.
• Accessibility: Posting regular society event information and updates on both WhatsApp and Instagram to make it as accessible as possible.
• Engagement: Using Canva to build engaging posters about events.
• Actively seeking feedback from students and using it to work with the leadership team to make the events even more exciting!
