Nour Mehdi

Hey everyone! My name’s Nour, and I’m running for Academic Officer.

Over the past two years as a member of the Transplant Vascular Society, I’ve really valued how much this society contributes to our learning outside of lectures. I want to help strengthen that academic support even further.

As Conference Chair last year, I organised speakers, structured an educational programme, and ensured everything ran smoothly. That experience taught me how to coordinate effectively, manage deadlines, and create high-quality academic events - skills that are directly relevant to this role.

If elected, I’d aim to:
• Organise teaching events
• Invite engaging speakers
• Ensure our events align with what students actually need
