Yesh Meadipudi

Hi, my name is Yesh, and I am applying for Vice President of the Orthopaedics Society. I am motivated to help lead a committee that is organised, ambitious, successful, and focused on delivering meaningful opportunities for students interested in orthopaedics.

Through my previous roles as Kit and Sponsorship Secretary for Imperial Medics Hockey Club, Orchestra Manager for Imperial Medics Music Society, and United Hospitals Conference Co-Lead, I have developed strong organisational and leadership skills across sport, music, and large-scale academic events. These roles have required clear communication, coordination between teams, outreaching to external bodies and ensuring projects run smoothly from planning to delivery - skills that are directly transferable to supporting the President and overseeing the society’s wider activities.

If elected, I will focus on strengthening collaboration within the committee, ensuring each role is well-supported and aligned with our overall goals. I am keen to help expand practical workshops, networking events, and teaching and research opportunities, while maintaining high standards of organisation and professionalism. I would also prioritise continuity - building strong relationships with sponsors and faculty to ensure sustainable growth year on year.

Above all, I want to help continue to grow a society that is inclusive, proactive, noticeable and genuinely valuable for members at all stages of their interest in orthopaedics. I am committed to being a dependable and approachable Vice President, contributing fully to ensure the most successful year possible.
