Hi All,

My name is Saliya and I am currently a first year undergraduate studying Chemistry. I am standing to be elected for general secretary for Mallu Soc because I would like to be in a position to motivate change and create more events in the society to showcase different talents.

If elected, I would organise more socials so that members of the society can interact more and I would encourage collaboration with other malayali societies in order to bring across better events. I would ensure that the society runs smoothly without any disparities between members through my leadership skills and organisational abilities. Furthermore, I would make sure that my aims lie with the aims of the society and that every possible action is taken to make sure that mallu Soc feels like a safe community for everyone.
