Chase Gill
With thousands of hours of experience in robotics, I have been at every level of robotics teams. From simply giving the time I had working under others, to managing teams of ~30-40+ people and budgets sneaking into the 6 figures, I am well suited to represent our community from all angles.
In secondary, I was pulling 38.5 hours per week of term time to work on robotics for 14 weeks straight. In my final year, as team leader and principal engineer, my team won 3/4 of the engineering awards for which it was eligible out of multiple dozen teams.
I'm a seasoned engineer, leader, teacher, and lobbyist, doubling my team's YoY budget. As an avid member of our consitituent team, FOR, I've been trying wholeheartedly to facilitate integration of mechanisms, teams, and subsystems.
Above all, I love passing on the skills I've been lucky enough to accrue on to those who are keen on learning them. I spent weeks of my summer just training my old team to ensure the gaps I left in our team were filled.
If you want an experienced leader in a very similar position, who has been in the same position as you at some point in his career, then I believe there is no better candidate.
