Akarat Jindachotsiri

Hi everyone! I’m Akarat (Bright), and I’m part of the leg team (ankle). I’m running to be your Prosthetics Treasurer.

Prosthetics is a big club with lots of subteams, which is amazing, but it also means our budget gets spread really thin. As someone in the ankle team, I’ve felt first-hand how funding limits can restrict what we want to do. I truly believe finances shouldn’t be what holds us back from building great things.

If elected, I’ll focus on three priorities:

1) More funding

I’ll work closely with the Sponsorship Officer to increase our overall funding through sponsorships, grants, and partnerships, so teams can do more.

2) More flexible subteam budgeting

Instead of budgets being fixed in stone, I’ll push for a more flexible system that can adapt through the year, so subteams can access support when plans change.

3) Clear, fair, and transparent finance

I’ll keep spending organised and visible, with clear updates on what’s available and how decisions are made, so everyone knows where the money is going and why.
