Hello wanderers of the fells!

I'm Will, a second-year Maths student, and your current Deputy President of Socials. And I'm happy to report it's been a pretty social year. A couple of things that I've been responsible for include arranging the Christmas dinner, board game night, and most recently the karaoke. I've also done a job of navigating many hikes, though I'll decline to comment on whether it was a good one, baked some (mostly) well-received cakes for our weekly Tea Break, and taken some mediocre banner selfies. It's tough work, getting your head in the frame without blocking half the view, but I'm nothing if not persistent at difficult tasks.

I'm having a shot at Deputy President of Tours this time, which have been a highlight of my time here. I've attended every tour that has been run since the beginning of my first year (they're just that good...) and am organising the upcoming Spring Tour to the Isle of Skye. Whether that's a success remains to be seen—I do have a high bar of an 80% survival rate to meet—but it's nonetheless useful experience. If elected, I will endeavour to maintain the high standard of organisation that I've seen on previous tours, and furthermore I'd like to run tours that see locations and terrain that you might not find on day hikes.

Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I would make a semi-decent tours organiser. See you on the next hike???
