Tate Trussell-Richards

Hi, I'm Tate, a 1st year Physics student. I've been involved with the Fellwanderers since I first joined in October after going on the Hampstead Heath taster hike. Since then, I have gone on nearly every weekend hiking trip, as well as a weekend trip and quite a few socials. As you could probably guess, I am an avid enjoyer of hiking and the outdoors and it is because of this, as well as enjoying the company of the other members of the society, that I am applying for the role of Deputy President (Tours) on this committee.

Through this position I hope to have a greater involvement in the society through organising trips and leading events, drawing on my experiences of the hikes I've attended this year, as well as making sure it remains well-organised and active. If I get this position, I promise that I will be diligent in my role, and put effort into keeping the hikes memorable and adventurous. I also promise to try to supply baked goods to all the tea breaks that I will attend.
