Hey, I'm Aoife and I'm so excited to be running for Events Officer of Computational Biology Society! :)

I am a second year biochemistry student interested in computational biology, especially high throughput experimentation and automation in drug discovery! I've loved the Python, R (as much as one can love R), PyMol, and bioinformatics in my course so far and am looking forward to exploring comp bio more.

I'm excited to organise more events, from coding/bioinformatics workshops to social events to help meet like-minded individuals. I would be honoured to be Event's Officer and help this society grow and thrive! I'd love to host panels, where people can be introduced to new ways to mix computation and biology and workshop oppurtunities to explore your own comp bio projects.

Whether you're a complete beginner or are inventing the next blast, I would love to help make this society enjoyable for everyone and help people thrive in the realm of comp bio.
