Dami Osobu

My name is Dami and I’m running to be your next webmaster! After being a part of gospel choir for the year, I am eager to give back and support this society with it’s mission and purpose. I can best do this through the running and maintenance of the gospel choir website to promote events and resources.

As a first year in computer science, I have already begun learning skills such as HTML, JavaScript and SQL, all of which I can apply to the development of the ICGC website and I am dedicated to learning any other skills to make this website successful. I am resilient, adaptable, approachable and have experience in similar projects.

I have a vision for the website that I hope to set the foundation for if not implement completely. This includes providing access to the google drive with the rehearsal recordings, eliminating the need to find old links and QR codes from PowerPoints or group chats and a display of upcoming choir events for visitors.

As your web admin, I promise to be:

• Receptive to all suggestions and requests
• Open and honest about all progress and setbacks in this project
• Collaborative with those wishing to contribute to the site
• Consistent with documentation to support future webmasters

I want to help create a central hub that can not only promote all the work this society does, but provide an archive of the choir that both former and future members can look back on.
