Tomos Davies

Hi! My name is Tomos and I’m a fourth year medic currently intercalating in Neuroscience and Mental Health. I’m relatively new to Sexpression, having only joined this academic year, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and am very excited to be running for chair! As well as my keen interest in sexual wellbeing and health promotion, I was drawn to Sexpression because of the fact that I didn’t really have any relevant or useful sex education when I was in school! I saw Sexpression as an opportunity to change this and help provide the next generation of young people with the information they need to live happy, healthy lives. I have extensive experience volunteering with children and young people in a variety of settings, including with Sexpression this year, and have been comprehensively trained in safeguarding. I’m particularly passionate about widening access to inclusive sexual health education, something I would pursue if elected as chair by seeking to expand our outreach to schools in underrepresented communities. As well as this I want to continue the great work completed by past committees to ensure Sexpression workshops and events take place throughout the year.
