PHEM is one of the few areas in medicine that feels intense, hands on, and immediate. It is fast thinking, teamwork, decision making under pressure, and real clinical impact. That is exactly why I want to help build conferences and flagship events that feel exciting, well run, and genuinely worth your time ⚡🩺
If elected, I want our events to do three things:
1) Be high value 📚
Strong speakers, relevant topics, and sessions that actually teach you something useful about pre hospital care, trauma, emergency medicine, and critical care.
2) Run smoothly ✅
Good events are not just about who is speaking. They need planning, timelines, communication, and a committee that is coordinated from start to finish.
3) Feel welcoming 🤝
Whether you are completely new to PHEM or already know this is your interest, our events should be accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for every year group.
I have experience in student leadership and society committee work, and I know how much preparation goes into making academic events successful. I am organised, proactive, and calm under pressure, and I will bring that energy to this role 💪📣
