Hi everyone, I’m Bea, a 1st year Biochemistry student, and I’m so excited to be running for BiochemSoc sponsorship officer for the next academic year! As sponsorship officer, I aim to secure more partnerships and build connections with sponsors for career panels and networking events to ensure the best opportunities for biochemistry students - whether it be in research, finance or anything in between.

Also, I aim to bring in more sponsors to support our social events. By securing extra funding 🤑💰, we can subsidise the cost of socials so it is affordable for everyone (in other words… no more £35 Christmas dinner!!). I am a strong believer that having affordable social events will help strengthen our sense of community within BiochemSoc.

If I am elected, I promise to be proactive and organised, ensuring we build long term partnerships to provide financial and professional support to BiochemSoc (and importantly, to make sure we don’t go broke!!). I’d really appreciate your vote!
