Plastic Surgery: Vice-President

Hi everyone, I’m Jonathan, and I’m running to be your Vice-President.

The Vice-President’s role is to make sure the society doesn’t just plan events, but actually delivers them well. My aim is to support the President, coordinate the committee, and ensure ideas turn into structured, reliable teaching and opportunities for members.

I want iPRAS to be consistent, organised, and genuinely useful for anyone interested in plastic surgery — from beginners to those building portfolios.

What I will deliver

  • Stronger coordination within the committee: I will help organise timelines, delegate tasks clearly, and ensure events are prepared well in advance so nothing is rushed last-minute.
  • Reliable teaching programme: Workshops, talks, and skills sessions will follow a structured calendar across the year so members can plan ahead and attend regularly.
  • More opportunities for members: I will help expand collaborations with surgeons, societies, and conferences to increase exposure, networking, and portfolio-building opportunities.
  • Continuity between committees: I will document processes and handovers properly so each year builds on the last instead of restarting from scratch.
  • Support for all roles: From education to equipment to media, I will assist other officers to troubleshoot problems early and keep events running smoothly.

My goal is simple: a society that is organised, dependable, and genuinely helpful for your development in Plastics Surgery.
