Brian Nwaghodoh
Hey, I’m Brian (first-year Math & CS student), and I’m running to be an ACS Sponsorship Officer because I want to help ACS keep growing - with funding that actually translates into better events and better opportunities for members. I want to work closely with my fellow officer to plan funded networking events that represent careers from all memebers of ACS.
If elected, my priorities would be:
- Strengthen sponsor retention: keep current sponsors happy with timely communication, clear deliverables, and genuine visibility at ACS events.
- Expand our sponsor base: reach out to firms that align with members’ interests, representing careers in tech, finance, and engineering, but also keeping in mind other roles ACS members may be interested in.
- Deliver more high-impact events: help secure sponsorship that supports career panels/networking that feel relevant and accessible, and that supports ACS’s wider community goals.
ACS is one of the few spaces on campus that can feel instantly like home. I’m someone who’s comfortable doing the behind-the-scenes work properly: reaching out, following up and keeping things organised. I’d be proud to help secure the backing that keeps that feeling strong while opening more doors for members. Thanks for reading - and I’d really appreciate your vote.
