Hi, I’m Tanvi - and I’m guessing the obvious hook here has to be my upcoming HSBC spring internship.

But on a deeper note I would love to be the person helping you navigate the maze ie finance applications to secure that dream internship.

About me:

• I’ve had real experience interacting with alumni, having interned this autumn directly under the founder of a startup built by an Imperial alumnus- so I can genuinely say I’ve practised what I’m preaching.

• I’ve also attended more networking events than I can count (and I’d like to think they were fruitful)

But I also believe many of those networking events could have been far more helpful-which brings me to why you should elect me.

What I want to do:

-Streamline the process and bring employers directly to Imperial students, alongside exclusive FinSoc insight events at top-firms.

-Run CV workshops -because getting kicked out at stage-one really shouldn’t be something Imperial students worry about.

- Make the application process less daunting by creating a live recruiting tracker(think Trackr:- but exclusively for FinSoc, with early access to give you that headstart)

-Organise workshops led by real employers so students get hands-on acesss to interviews and insight into what firms actually look for during that long waiting-period.

Ultimately my goal is simple: to bridge the gap that sometimes feels insurmountable (but really isn’t) and bring top firms closer to Finance Society members.
