Hi everyone, I’m Teysha and I’m so excited to be running for Sponsorship Liaison!

My main goal is to bring in partnerships that genuinely benefit not just the society, but you, as the members. I want to strengthen our industry links to create more opportunities for you, as well as more exposure and events. I also hope to make events more affordable, so cost won’t be a barrier to getting involved.

How will I contribute?

I will:

• Bring in a range of partners to open doors into as many industries as possible for bioengineers, so you can meet people across various sectors and explore something beyond the ‘typical’ career path.
• Write tailored proposals to companies and create flexible packages to encourage their support.
• Look for smaller but impactful companies that can offer more meaningful recruitment opportunities and events for the society.
• Regularly keep in touch with our sponsors to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

Most importantly, I want to hear what you have to say! I’d love to take your suggestions into account and reach out to companies that you would like to explore.
