Hi everyone! Let’s not waste time and get straight into it – why vote for me for activities manager? I can sum it up for you in three simple words: I. know. fun. One key principle I live life by is to always find the fun in everything you do and never waste time doing anything that bores you. Anyone that knows me will attest to the fact that I manage to have fun no matter where I am or what I’m doing. I can guarantee that I aim to stick to this mantra should I become activities manager. We’re talking bigger, better, more exciting events appealing to the wider student community; whether you’re a chill games night kind of person or someone who thrives for a crazy night out, I’ll ensure that there is always an activity at DesSoc you will want to attend. I understand university life gets a little crazy and I strongly believe in the importance of setting some time aside for yourself to unwind and relax – we don’t get enough of that these days do we? As activities manager I will work with the committee to make sure us desengers have the time and space for a quality social life no matter how much havoc we’re dealing with throughout the year.
