Niki Kan
Hi everyone! I’m putting myself forward for Brand Manager. And I want to make sure our visual identity actually looks as good as the stuff we’re building in the workshops.
Why I’m up for it:
I’m one of those people who genuinely enjoys getting things organised, whether that’s a chaotic file folder or a gallery wall. I’m constantly on Instagram (probably too much), so I know what looks good on a feed and how to get people to actually click on an event link.
What I want to do:
-
The Logo: This is the big one. I’d love to lead a re-design of the society logo. I want something that feels a bit more "us" - chaos but clean, technical, and a bit more modern.
-
Actually Decent Merch: I want to move away from the basic "logo-on-a-cheap-tee" look. I’m aiming for hoodies and bits that you’d actually want to wear to a lecture, not just to the back of the wardrobe.
-
A Better Feed: I’ll keep the coordination side of things tight. No last-minute, stretched-out posters. Just clean graphics, good photography, and a feed that doesn’t look like an afterthought.
-
Posters People Keep: I love making posters that look like actual design work, not just info dumps. Expect stuff that actually catches your eye in the hallway.
I’ve got the creative side covered and the organisational habits to make sure things actually get printed and posted on time. Let’s make the society look the part!
