As PlayTeam Chair, I will ensure that our paediatric volunteering programme continues to be impactful, well organised, and rewarding for both the children we support and the volunteers who join. PlayTeam is one of the flagship initiatives of Paediatrics Society, offering students the chance to make a real difference on the paediatric wards at St Mary’s Hospital through play and engagement. I will prioritise clear communication, streamlined scheduling, and great volunteer support so that every session runs smoothly and safely. I will work to recruit and retain enthusiastic volunteers, ensuring they feel prepared, confident, and appreciated in their roles throughout the year.

I am organised, dependable, and committed to enhancing the PlayTeam experience for everyone involved. I will liaise actively with hospital staff to ensure we meet clinical requirements and maintain strong working relationships, while also gathering feedback from volunteers to continuously improve our programme. My focus will be on creating an environment where children benefit most from our presence and volunteers feel supported, valued, and empowered. If elected, I will lead PlayTeam with professionalism, passion, and a clear commitment to its mission of providing meaningful support to children and families.
