Plastic Surgery: RTS Conference Chair

Hi everyone, I am really excited to go for the role of RTS conference co chair!

This conference enhanced my interest in plastic surgery, because it opened my eyes to the different career possibilities. From oculoplastics to reconstructive surgery, this conference was inspiring by providing me with greater exposure to this speciality. Therefore, I would love to help provide more exposure to others as well and be involved in organising this conference.

If I were to be elected as a co-chair, I would be proactive, reliable and organised. I have been involved in organising events by helping with UH night and RAG. I also have great leadership and teamwork skills, which I developed in my role as 4s Netball co-captain.

I have many ideas that could be introduced to the conference, including:

Having networking stalls, for delegates to be able to mingle and ask questions directly
Encouraging younger years to attend through specific advertisements/publicity
Boosting accessibility in workshops by recording tutorials by demonstrators prior to the conference, so it is easily visible to all delegates.

In summary, I am a friendly and enthusiastic individual and would love to potentially be a conference co-chair!!
