We're the best department camping in our little bunker of a building. But most of us are surviving on caffeine, fighting coursework deadlines and exam weeks! Amidst this frenzy, the last thing you want to do is hunt for event details buried in group chats.
From the Mums & Dads scheme that helps freshers settle in, to bar nights, industrial talks, hackathons, and the legendary CarEErs Fair that brings top companies straight to us, this society does so much, but students don’t always see it. I want to change that!
Here's how I'll ensure strong communication between EESoc and students:
- The Weekly EEE Survival Briefings
A short, clean, once-a-week digest: upcoming events, key deadlines, careers opportunities, and departmental reminders - Strategic Careers Fairs
There's no escapingy from the int*rnship hunt. Instead of just announcing the Careers' Fair, I'll share: “Company of the Day” spotlights beforehand Application prep reminders Post-event summaries with recruiter insights - First-Year Friendly Communication
I'll curate an EEE Starter Guide, highlighting where to find labs, key contacts, project pathways, and how to start thinking about career paths. Publicity shouldn’t assume you already know everything! - Celebrating Our Own
I'll share the internships secured. Research wins. Competition results. Final-year projects. I want people to open EESoc emails and feel inspired and united in celebration. - Rapid-Response Queries
I promise quick replies to your questions.
As Head Boy, I’ve run structured initiatives and handled high-pressure comms before. Vote for me for less confusion, more visibility, and publicity that actually works for engineers.
Let’s engineer the information flow properly.
