MedTech: Vice President

Hello! I would love to become the next VP of Imperial MedTech. I am collaborative, reliable and experienced; having served this year as Events Officer, I understand what it takes to turn ideas into high-quality opportunities for our members.

Over the past year, I have organised and supported speaker events, workshops, and hackathons - from CardioTech in the autumn term to large-scale initiatives such as the London Careers in HealthTech Summit in February. Through these experiences, I developed skills in logistics, leadership and delivering events that genuinely benefit students.

Looking ahead, my vision is to broaden MedTech’s scope while keeping patient impact at its core. I want to strengthen the bridge between medicine and bioengineering by curating events focused on biomechanics, biotech devices, and collaboration with engineering societies. Imperial is uniquely positioned at this intersection, and we should lead it. I also want to widen access and representation within health technology, by introducing initiatives such as a female founders panel to spotlight women in MedTech and inspire greater inclusion within the space. Finally, I want to expand our focus on digital health ethics and NHS innovation - exploring AI ethics, regulation, device rollout, and how innovative technologies can be integrated into the NHS.

Beyond MedTech, my leadership roles across PaedSoc, HaemSoc, and ICSM RAG have strengthened my organisation skills and deepened my commitment to meaningful impact. I aspire to help MedTech empower the next generation of clinical innovators, while staying grounded with intention to improve patient care.

Thank you!
