Hello everyone, instead of waffling about how my passion for cardio or my past teaching and research experiences make me the best person for this role, I'll instead talk more importantly about what new ideas and frameworks I will bring to the society. My focus is mainly upon expanding and introducing a wider range of clinical + technological cardio research opportunities for all (more possible publications for you lot) as well as increasing the quantity + quality of high yield tutorials as part of a structured national teaching series. Big fan of the yearly cardio-connect event and I intend to maintain its high standard. Overall, I want to strengthen the society's cardiovascular research network + teaching, laying strong foundations for the future.
