Hi everyone! I’m Sissi, a first-year EFDS student running for Vice President of Women in Business.
Women in Business has been one of the most supportive and inspiring communities I’ve joined at Imperial. I would love the opportunity to help continue building a society where members feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to pursue their ambitions.
I would strive to remain highly approachable and responsive, regularly collecting feedback to ensure the society continues offering what members truly want and need. I'm also open to direct messages at any time, enabling feedback to be shared and addressed quickly.
As Vice President, I am ready to:
- Strengthen the Mentorship Programme - As a current mentee myself, I understand the value of these relationships. I hope to introduce a more structured mentorship framework, organise socials that deepen mentor–mentee connections, and invite alumni to participate as mentors or advisors.
- Expand & Deepen Industry & Alumni Connections - By leveraging networks such as GAIN, Women in Trading, Imperial Business School, and our alumni community, I aim to host insight days, office visits, and networking dinners to help members build long-term personal connections.
- Enhance Social and Community Events - Increasing the frequency and variety of social events, from networking socials to creative activities such as puppy yoga, jewellery workshops, baking socials, and pilates, to help members connect beyond professional settings.
I am deeply committed to making ICWB continue growing as an even more supportive community that uplifts one another.
