Aida Mohd Faez

Hey Ladies! I am Aida and I'm a first year physics student running for Treasurer for WiB! After attending many of the events WiB offered this year, I have started to feel even more confident exploring various careers paths in such a welcoming environment. I aspire to continue nuturing this wonderful community of women at WiB by helping to ensure the smooth planning of events.

As treasurer, I will be sure to:

• Efficiently plan and manage the society's funds to make the best use of them by liasing with Events and Sponsorship Managers.
• Keep detailed records of the WiB budget to optimise its use on fun and engaging events for our members!
• Work closely with other committee members and report back promptly to continue delivering exciting events and maintaining a safe space for members to excel.

I understand how daunting entering male-dominated spaces can be, so I plan to keep making WiB welcoming to everyone! I will be committed to encouraging women to pursue roles in finance or consulting and let them know that any feeling of self-doubt only becomes an obstacle if we allow it to be.
