Women in Business: Treasurer

I'm Ekaterina, a second-year Economics, Finance & Data Science student. From turning to the Women in Business society during spring week and summer internship applications, to being part of committee this year, I realise just how special this society is. As Marketing Manager, I have seen first-hand how much work goes into making everything run smoothly, and my goal is to continue to support that next year in a role I feel most closely aligns with my background. Having worked with our incredible current treasurer Audrey, I'm confident in my understanding of how the society and union operate financially, and would love to build on the strong foundations she has put in place.

My priorities as Treasurer would be:

To make sure we can continue subsidising the events that make this society special - whether that's pilates and ice-skating socials or our new annual Connections by Course dinner - so as many ambitious women as possible can continue to meet each other and get closer to their career goals. And of course, ensuring as many of our insight and networking events as possible include great food :)
To work with the rest of the committee to continue widening the range and improving the quality of events we offer, maintaining the financial health of the society so we can keep introducing exciting new ones.
