Hi! My name is George and I am running for First Year Representative.

Over this past year, I have enjoyed being the Secretary of ChemSoc, and I have really seen how ChemSoc is a great way for chemists to get together and socialise outside of studies.

Freshers events are some of the most important and underrated ChemSoc events of the year - meeting new people in your course for the first time while doing a quiz (or eating some pizza!) is a vital experience for many freshers, and I would like to keep this going for next year.

If elected, I will ensure that there are plenty of events next year for all our freshers to get involved in, whether it's a quiz, a film night, baking, or just eating pizza.
