Hi, everyone,I'm Sharon.

I’m running for Chemistry Sports Officer. I know this isn’t always the most popular role, but I wanted to put myself forward. Firstly, I’ve always enjoyed sports, from badminton to basketball to tennis, and I’m always open to trying something new. I understand the excitement, energy, fun that sports can bring to a community.

Secondly, I’m a good listener, and I’d genuinely like to hear what you would want from sports events. At the moment, we don’t often hear about sports activities within the Chemistry department, and as someone who really enjoys sport, I feel that’s a shame. If elected, I would work to organise more events that are fun, current and engaging — not just traditional competitive sports, but also creative and interesting games that bring everyone together.
