Hello balloon lovers, I am Lucas, doing 2nd year Physics.

I have been part of Stratus for a year now, and it has been veryyy fun!!! From messing around with sensors and Finding Samin in the beginning, to building ultrasonic anemometers and chatting with other members about what they’re doing (the AI bit is especially fun!) Ofc, the launch was the MVP!! These moments made me feel I belong to Stratus, and I'd love to do more next year than just participating!!

Thanks to the chat I had with Misha, I knew more about the responsibilities other than contributing to the project that a lead has. (Thanks Misha :)) They mostly include keeping track of emails with union/Steve/others, making decisions for the project after gathering members’ views and more admin stuff. Having been one of the leads of an NGO and other societies, I am confident in taking up these responsibilities.

More importantly, I would love to make things even more organised next year, perhaps with a Notion page, so that each team can keep track of their progress and know what other teams are doing. The second thing is to try to keep the members active from the beginning. With more frequent launches and collab with Svarog, extra members would be pivotal for Stratus’ growth!!

At last, I just wanna thank Misha again for this opportunity, and everyone else for an amazing year!! Looking forward to more exciting things to be done next year!!
