Laksia Satheeswaran

Hi I'm Laksia (2nd year medic) and I'm running to be school liaison officer!

Through working within the subcommittee this year to develop new and exciting collabs, I've really enjoyed being able to give something back to our amazing society. I would love to continue this, which is why I'm running to be school liaison officer next year!

From contacting societies and working effectively in a team, I've developed skills from these collabs to add to my experience of liaising with schools to teach a coding club in primary schools which I do outside of uni, so I think I would be able to reliably organise the school visits and navigate any scenarios where we would need to make any changes to our schedule.

As someone who plans their revision schedule week by week in excel, liaising with schools and planning visits genuinely sounds like a fun side quest !
