Amanda Aalto

Hi Everyone!

My name is Amanda and I'm running for the Schools Liasion Officer position. I have found that being an active part of Teddy Bear Hospital this year as a first year Medic has been incredibly rewarding. As a result, I know that being able to take on an even more impactful role would be a huge privilege. I believe I am suited for this role as I consider myself to be very organized and I have experience working as a liason between large groups of people. For example, I have five years of experience working as a stage/backstage manager in which I serve as a communicator between a number of individuals such as actors, crew members, and the creative team in order to bring a vision to life while maintaining order and professionalism. Much like any other production, being able to bring Teddy Bear Hospital to life (through email of course) requires professionalism, communication skills, and patience all of which I have a lot of practice in as previously mentioned. Together, I know we can further Teddy Bear Hospital's presence and impact in the community.
