Yubo Gao

Hey, I’m Yubo, a first-year biochem student. I’ve been volunteering since last term and have really enjoyed teaching students at Teddy Bear Hospital. I’ve also been to many sessions, so I have a good sense of how things run and can help keep things on track.

As a School Liaison Officer, I will be making sure every visit and event goes smoothly – sorting out times, venues, and how many students are coming. After each visit, I will check in with schools for feedback to pass on anything that could make the next one better. Previously, I’ve coordinated and ran mini lab experiments for Year 6 students from local primary schools, so I feel I can bring those skills to this role.

I’m here to keep things easy, helpful, and fun for everyone. And of course, I’m happy to hop into the Payel Suit too!
