Hi, I'm Laksia, 2nd year medic! Volunteering with teddy bear hospital the last 2 years has been so special and Wednesday afternoons have truly become the highlight of my week ! 🌟

I want to make sure this can continue to be the case for everyone by keeping the society alive, which is why I am running to be treasurer.

Having submitted my fair share of claims (and not always had the best experience with the union website 💔) I would make ita priority to ensure that everyone understands how to submit a claim and I would provide immediate feedback on advised action if a claim gets rejected.

I am also an excel addict 🤩 so fear not the budget will be super clear and every penny accounted for if I have anything to do with it.

Working within the subcommittee to craft new collabs and stations with SignSoc and Infectious Diseases Society and seeing how much the children enjoyed this has inspired me further to develop a strong financial foundation for our society so that we can continue to have a meaningful impact. 🫶
