Tennis: Vice President

As a first-year I've loved being part of Imperial Tennis, but I think there's a real opportunity to make the club feel more connected than it currently does. As VP, that would be my driving goal.

First, I'd work to improve communication between teams – making sure everyone knows what's going on, feels included and has a sense of belonging past their own squad. With a monthly calendar across all of IC Tennis, increased social media activity and better captain communication this can easily be achieved.

Second, I'd push for mixed mid-week training sessions, separated for BUCS then LUSL and any other casual players. These sessions tend to be some of the most fun and competitive (like how everyone loves the Davis cup), and they're a great way to build relationships across the club that make the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone.

And like I'd push for as M2 captain – I want to see a club kit, or at least a BUCS kit. Having something we wear together to matches, regardless of team, builds a real sense of shared identity that I think Imperial Tennis deserves.

As a first-year I've already seen how much this club means to people. I want to help make it even better.
