Hi everyone, I am Helen and I would like to be one of your Event Officers next year! Having the role as your Sustainability Officer this past year, I would love to be part of the team again and now I’m ready to take that experience to channel it into creating an unforgettable calendar of events for next year.

As your Event Officer, I want to make sure that there is something for everybody, this means a healthy balance between big socials (pub crawls, dinners) and casual activities (games/movie nights, art sessions) and industrial trips. I will ensure clear communication, having termly event schedules notified early on so that you all won't miss out the fun and manage your plans well in advance. I would also love to hear about new suggestions and collaborations to bring community closer together. Being part of the committee this year has given me what it looks behind the seen and undertsand how things would work more effectively. I am genuinely passionate about making our department feel like a community. and I have spent this year learning what you enjoy, so let me spend next year making it actually happen!

At the end of the day, we remember the people and the experiences. I want to make sure those memories are remarkable. Vote for me and let’s make next year the most exciting one yet.
