Consultancy: ICG VP Operations

I am running for ICG VP Operations because I want to keep the sourcing and allocation process reliable, fair, and easy to navigate for every member.

As a current ICG consultant, I have seen first-hand how much these projects help students build real consulting experience, and how much a smooth allocation process matters. Outside ICG, my background in market research, business strategy analysis, and recruitment has made me comfortable with organisational tasks required for suceeding in the role.

If elected, I will focus on three priorities:

  1. Make applications faster and clearer
I will keep what works, but tighten the process by standardising key questions, setting clear expectations upfront, and giving applicants clearer updates throughout the cycle.

  2. Fair, skills-based project allocation
I will introduce a simple skills and preferences snapshot for each candidate (strengths, interests, availability) to make matching more consistent. The aim is simple: fewer mismatches, a better experience on projects, and less admin work for project managers.

  3. A stronger onboarding process
I will add short workshop-style onboarding sessions on the core consulting toolkit (problem structuring, research basics, slide writing) so every consultant starts with the same baseline, regardless of background.

If you want ICG operations that run smoothly and fairly, I would really appreciate your vote:)
