Consultancy: ICG President

Hey everyone, I’m Kush!

Over the past year, I’ve worked with ICG as both an Associate and a Project Manager, which has given me a strong understanding of how it operates. Along the way, I’ve worked closely with the committee, recently securing an exclusive club licence with think-cell (PowerPoint add-in used by top consulting firms) and organising our first training session on it. Through these experiences, I’ve seen how strong ICG already is, but also where we’re capable of improving further.

I believe ICG has so much potential, and my vision is to expand our reach while creating more meaningful opportunities for our members.

If elected President, I aim to implement the following key initiatives:

  • Rolling out think-cell across ICG:
Ensuring all members gain access to and become certified in this industry-standard tool, improving the quality and consistency of our deliverables while training members in a new skill, great for CVs and LinkedIn.
  • Upgrading our training programme:
Delivering workshops on producing client-ready and case-competition-winning slide decks, alongside more application-based sessions (potentially with guidance from our LEK mentors).
  • Expanding competitive and collaborative opportunities:
Organising case-competitions with other student consulting groups, and exploring a possible collaboration with MIT Consulting Group.
  • Attracting new clients and improving project briefs:
Bringing in new projects through Imperial alumni and setting clearer expectations at the start of each project cycle to streamline progress and improve performance.

I’m really excited about the future of ICG and would love your support to take it to the next level!
