Manya Bhargava

Hi! I’m Manya, a third-year physics student. Over the years I’ve really valued the way that Physoc events help to foster a sense of community in Blackett. I’ve loved attending events like movie nights and kahoots, and now I want to give a bit back.

If elected, I would try to:

• Have more established family events throughout the year to encourage continued participation
• Have more movie nights (and potentially a Lord of The Rings marathon in LT1??)
• Encourage community through friendly competition, e.g. students vs staff trivia night, Physoc bake-off, Walk-a-thon
• Introduce a system for students to directly input their own events ideas
• Make more use of the spaces we have, like the terrace and Hyde Park

And as per usual, all would include plenty of free food :)
