Hey everyone, my name's Iphazha, and I'm excited to be running for Secretary :)
I'm a first-year studying Economics, Finance and Data Science, and I've greatly enjoyed attending the EconSoc events over this past academic year. Engaging with everyone has been really fun and exciting, and I've found the events to be immersive and insightful, fuelling my growing interest in economics. My main reason for running is the opportunity to take a more active part in this society, and to be able to help EconSoc prosper in the future.
I'm very dependable and dedicated, especially when it comes to something that I am passionate about. As Secretary, I would do my best to ensure the society is running effectively and its members are satisifed, by facilitating clear communication and coordination between all parties. I really value making sure that things operate smoothly, and minimising confusion and ambiguity where possible, so I believe I would be a great fit for the Secretary role.
