Hi everyone, I’m Rahul, a third-year medic, and I’m running for Treasurer of the Neurology Society.

I’m currently undertaking neurology research and have served as both a Secretary and Speaker Coordinator, where I’ve worked behind the scenes on large events and conferences. Those roles gave me a real understanding of budgeting, planning, and the detail required to make events run smoothly.

As Treasurer, I will focus on:

• Transparent, organised financial management

• Strategic budgeting to maximise conference and teaching quality

• Seeking sponsorships and grants to grow our funding

• Keeping events affordable while delivering real value

• Long-term financial planning, not just short-term spending
