My name is Deen, and I am running for President to transform the Ophthalmology Society into a high-yield, inclusive hub for every Imperial medic. I am committed to bridging the gap between curiosity and commitment by introducing 'Pros & Cons' seminars and specialist-led Duke Elder masterclasses to give you a definitive competitive edge. Leveraging my strong personal ties within the student body, I will launch strategic collaborations with SurgSoc, MedTech, and NeuroSoc to deliver interdisciplinary workshops on surgical innovation, AI in eye care, and neuro-ophthalmology. Alongside an ambitious Annual Conference and expanded portfolio-building opportunities, I will ensure the society provides tangible value whether you are exploring the field or ready to apply.
