Mercury Pratt

Hi, I'm Mercury (they/it)! I'm currently on an industrial placement, but will be back at Imperial next year to finish my degree. Many of you may already know me if you have been with the society for more than a year - you will likely have seen many messages from me as treasurer 2024-25 and secretary the year before that. I already know how the society and the committee run very well, and also have a lot of experience arguing with the Union, and I hope you will trust me to work as your president next year.

Although I haven't been present in the society this year, I have still been going to pole and hoop classes (and collecting ideas for next year); I have also been working on my beginners pole instructor training, so expect to see me running some beginners classes!

Next year you can expect the same amazing classes and workshops you are used to, with a wide range of regular classes and workshops for pole and a continued partnership with aerialand for all hoop, silks, straps, and other aerial classes. On top of this, I will also ensure cute showcases and socials.

This society has been an incredible part of my life since I joined as a first year, and I hope going into the last year of my degree I can help lead the society and keep the community just as amazing as it is now <3
