Spanish & Latin American: Vice President

¡Hola a todos! I’m Bertran, but most of you know me as Beto. After a fantastic year serving as your Social Secretary, I’m thrilled to run for Vice President.

I’m from Spain and Chile, and I’ve also lived in Colombia, Argentina, and now Brazil, which has allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for the richness, diversity, and identity of our community.

As your Social Secretary this year, I’ve organised events such as Clásico watch parties, pub crawls, football games, and many more still to come. Through this role, I’ve gained valuable experience working with the Union and managing the processes behind making our events happen, preparing me take on greater responsibility.

As Vice President, I want to expand our outreach even further. I aim to organise more social events, host speaker events featuring Spanish and Latin American alumni, and strengthen our collaborations with other societies across the UK.

I’m incredibly excited for this opportunity, and I would be honoured to have your vote so we can continue building an even stronger Spanish and Latin American Society next year.
