Behind every successful society is careful planning, and what turns good ideas into great events comes down to how well resources are used.
Hi everyone,
I’m a third-year medical student running for Treasurer of the Pharmacology Society because I want to ensure the society’s ideas and ambitions are supported by careful and strategic budgeting.
Pharmacology is a field built on precision and sound judgement. As Treasurer, I would bring the same mindset to managing the society’s finances: planning ahead, spending responsibly, and making sure decisions genuinely add value for members.
My focus would be on keeping finances clear and well organised so the committee always has a good understanding of our budget and what we can realistically deliver throughout the year. Thoughtful budgeting allows a society to run events confidently and sustainably, and I would work closely with the committee to make sure our resources are used effectively.
I’m organised, reliable, and comfortable working with numbers, but more importantly, I enjoy engaging with pharmacology beyond the curriculum and helping ensure the society has the resources to support that exploration.
If elected, I will ensure the society’s finances are handled carefully and transparently throughout the year.
I would really appreciate your support.
